This technically isnβt really Β a DIYβ¦even though it is DIYβ¦.the only thing DIY about it is a few spray painted S hooksβ¦..but when coming up with a title for a post you have to think about the person who is looking to search out βnecklace holdersββ¦ so this one totally qualifies:) (holy run on sentence:) I found this large iron rack thingy at Homegoodsβ¦.pretty sure itβs original intent was just to hang pretty on a wallβ¦but I thought it would make a fabulous necklace holder. It fits perfectly in between the mirrors in the master bathroom. All I needed was 3 packages of small S hooksβ¦some jewelry chain and a bit of wire. It holds all my necklaces and some earrings tooβ¦I love how it came out!
I see similar grates often in Target or TJ Maxxβ¦look around for one that has lots of cross angles for you to place some S hooks. I found the S hooks at Lowesβ¦.and I sprayed them robins egg blueβ¦.just to dress them up a bit.
I used some jewelry chain from Michael’s on the way bottomβ¦secured it with silver wireβ¦.it is a perfect spot for dangling earringsβ¦.
Easy to seeβ¦easy to grabβ¦.plus pretty to look atβ¦.:)
The rest of the spaceβ¦.as it is today;)
Good luck in your search!

Great idea! I made something like this for my earrings! I used a simple canvas glued to my wall and just pinned them on it.
