So we are off to our first college visit this morning. All I can think is….how can these little faces be ready to look at colleges?? We are starting by going to our “home”…The University of Dayton. It is just a couple hours north of here…easy day trip and one that the kids have grown up learning about. I know that they both have a strong desire to go there….but it seems the college landscape is a whole lot more competitive now. We know that over the next year and a half that we will be looking at a LOT more schools. Odd to think that 2 short years my kids will be adults….sigh….

That book that I told you about a few weeks back has been made into a movie…and it looks soooooooo good. Those things never turn out as good as the book in your head…but I do love that they use actors that aren’t as well known…

I’m off next week….leaving out on Sunday with my honey to get to West Palm Beach—cannot wait to see the SUN!!! I ordered this sweet little cover up—to cover up my extremely-reflected-light-white-self….It is very chic and very comfy. I may not pack anything else!

My bff is doing weight watchers (even though she really doesn’t need to…she was just wanted to loose a few pounds) and recently when I went to visit her I was telling her about the seltzer cupcakes that I had made a few years back. She translated the point value…and tells me they are only ONE point! A whole delicious chocolaty cupcake for just one point!!

I will check in this coming week on social media I am sure….have a great week friends! And if you are just stopping by for the first time check out the side bar for cool past projects;)

  1. Oh, my heart hurts a little for you thinking of looking at universities. It seems that the years just fly by with kids and it makes me think that in the blink of an eye, the next 10 years are going to fly by with my little ones (who are now 7 & 5 1/2). The days are long, but the years are short. Have a good weekend and a nice trip to Florida!
