Never pass a bulletin board up at a yard sale or thrift shop. You can easily make it look new again with just a bit of fabric. This one is going in my friend Patti’s retreat...it will be perfect for placing pictures as she organizes them in her albums and scrapbooks. Here is what I did….

This bulletin board is 24 by 36….so I bought about 3/4 yards of a decorator fabric (that comes 54inches wide)
I cut it down to about 1.5 inches wider than the board. I wrapped it like a package and used my staple gun all the way around. Just corner the fabric like you would when you wrap a package.
Be sure to line up correctly….especially if you use a stripe ;)
I used coordinating ribbon …attached to the back and pulled tightly across the front…stapling it to the other side.
Placed pretty push pins (Michaels) about every 5 inches…this way if you don’t want to pierce the picture you could just place it in between the pins and it would stay.
I love how it turned out!
