My first foodie post from our new houseβ¦.feels so funβ¦and yet so weird. I am still figuring out the best way to use this space. Still a ton to doβ¦lots to shareβ¦so excited to share it with all of you!! Here is a great lil recipe to try out this weekendβ¦.
I am pretty sure that cucumber is the official veggie of summertime (along with the beloved tomato of course.) Rightly so I supposeβ¦it grows rampant all season longβ¦.taste fabulous on a hot summer dayβ¦and you can make it look so stinkin cool too. Doesnβt this look so chic?? And I am sooooo not chic! :) My friends over at Martha Stewart ( thatβs right, Martha herselfβ¦insert sarcasmβ¦) sent me these adorbs plates from the Martha Stewart Collectionβ¦available exclusively at Macyβs. These remind me of Madmen for some reasonβ¦a bit mid century modern with just a touch of cuteness. Sidenote: Have you watched Madmen??β¦.oh my goodness. This year is the final seasonβ¦.and I am going to start the entire show over from the beginningβ¦.it is just that good. The costume and set design are incredible. I digressβ¦.The collection is called Poppyβ¦.very fun and summeryβ¦.go check it out at your local Macyβs:)
So here is how you put together these easy cucumber bitesβ¦.it really couldnβt be simpler. You could place them on a cracker instead of rye toastβ¦.up to you.
