Strawberry Green Tea on Ice (Iced green tea)

Hey yall! Hope your Father’s Day weekend was a sweet one. We are definitely in summer mode here….and it nice to have some routine free days. Typically summer time is slow in blog land…and my post will be a bit sparse until back to school post start showing up in August. July is the slowest traffic month…along with January….so I don’t like to share a ton of new projects during those months. I will be popping in a couple times a week from now until mid-end of July. As always, you can find me popping in and out on social media…a bit more frequently than on here. We are getting ready to go to the beach in a week or so and I will be there for the better part of July. I have a few projects to work on there…so I am hoping to put a  few post together from Carolina. But today….we shall talk tea….

Are you a tea drinker? I have stuck to coffee for most of my adult life and I know that there are so many benefits to drinking tea… especially green tea. I set out to create a cold iced tea that was slightly sweet  enough…that also incorporated green tea. This recipe was a complete hit. Not too sweet just the right amount of tea flavor and if you are not an ice tea lover you might try this as a starter. I infused it with some strawberries but you could use any berry that you are really fond of….blackberry or raspberries would be a great thing to try.

I have this whole ritual now when I have a glass in the afternoon….I grab my favorite glass…fill it up to the top with ice…pour in some tea and sip with my glass straw….it is delightful:) (I get my glass straws here, and the glass is from the @catsstudiodesign collection.)
