Summer is in full swing here….my bubs finished his exams last Friday…and the peanut has her last exam tomorrow. I am scrambling to get ready to take bubs and my nephew to the beach for a week….looking forward to chilling on the Atlantic:) I am sure I will be popping in from time to time…but the regular post here may get a bit scattered. It seems that is pretty typical for blogland….If you are new here and just stopping by for the first time…please check out the project gallery…or look on the menu at the top for some recent projects:)

This was one of those ideas her I thought oh my gosh I’m a total genius… Until I Google searched and saw all about 10,000 other projects that we’re pretty much the same. So  I’m definitely not the first person to think about this but I thought maybe you hadn’t thought of the idea either so here it is:)

I told you the other day about my little container vegetable garden. I decided to go with things that were supposed to be easy so fingers crossed. My thinking was salad for dinner…strawberry shortcake for dessert you feel me? Am I right or am i right? So of course I had to dress up the little garden markers.

I took some wine corks that I had laying around along with some wooden bamboo skewers and my Sharpie markers to make my own cute little garden markers. They turned out so sweet I want to plant more things! My family tells me I have to wait to see how these do first. The confidence is low I tell you…. very low. They have all the right though. I’m kind of in ADD Gardner… I think that it’s the lack of immediate gratification that I have a problem with. But I am getting better about that. I suppose its old age setting in. I know that you really don’t need a tutorial for this you basically poke a sharp end of the bamboo into the wine cork and you label. Done and done. I like to keep things simple you know that.

Good luck to you and go plant and harvest hopefully!
