No box Chocolate Brownies (Easy Homemade Brownie Recipe)

Sorry for all the food post….I have been cooking/baking a bunch being stuck inside so much these past few weeks…I will be sharing some fun diy/decorating post this week too:) Promise….Homemade brownies are easier than you think. And when you add in the rich premium Ghirardelli chocolate bits in the mix…they are over the top decadent. I wanted to give you a recipe that was easy, homemade, and taste like you got them right from the bakery. Ghirardelli has all sorts of products that would work in this recipe. What I love about Ghirardelli products is the premium ingredients. They are going to cost you a few pennies more…but your end product is only as good as your ingredients. You need less to satisfy the brownie craving because each bite is rich and filling.  I used the bittersweet 60% Cacao chips and the milk chocolate baking bits. These are double chocolaty goodness….grab some milk friends and come bake with me….

I thought it would be fun to “personalize” the brownies. Here is a fun treat to top any dessert….Since love begins at home…why not make your home out of chocolate:) Print out your house on a sheet of paper (I did a print with 6 on one sheet). Trace your house with a dark marker. Place on a cookie sheet and place wax paper on top. Spray wax paper with non stick spray. Melt up 1/2 C of Ghirardelli baking chips, drop a dash of canola oil in the chocolate so it is smooth. Pour chocolate in a baggie and cut a super small hole in the corner. Pipe and trace your house with chocolate. Go back and forth to fill in. Place in freezer to set up. Peel off and place on top of brownie or on the plate:)
