This time of year, my hubby gets a little twitch….

He really starts to miss this….

And this….boating is his passion…he loves being on this boat…
We built a little cottage back in 2007….and it is a little piece of heaven on earth…

the place is decorated completely with found objects and re purposed materials…(except for our beds ;) Here is some drift wood found at the local state park…I used it to hang the curtains with too!

It is quiet and quaint…and so peaceful….
memories made with every visit…..
I can’t wait to share more with you….when the weather is warmer!!! I know it will be here before we know it!

Looks perfect to me. Lucky you. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing all about your lakehouse and the life you live there.

  3. Please show us more…I love the lake! We live on one & there's definitely a calm, peaceful feeling looking out across by backyard. Well…until Summer weekends…kinda loud some days! ;)

  4. OMG I am so jealous Tracie. I've always thought of us as beach people (Jersey shore, u know) but this makes me think a lake house would be just as relaxing! Would love to see even more pictures!
