Hi yall! Hope you had a great weekend:) I celebrated turning 43…great dinner out at a local restaurant in our neighborhood called 502…it is fantastic! We also got to go get a ton of puppy kisses on Saturday! Chloe is almost ready to come home….we will go pick her up in 2 weeks. Cannot wait! Pop over on Facebook to see the pics I shared:)
I wanted to continue the Homearama house tour today. Seems like forever ago…but it was just last month that Homearama ended. I shared with you the foyer, family room and kitchen…so now we come to the master suite. This first floor master is stunning….let me show you around…
We are greeted with this exaggerated upholstered bed that fit this room perfectly. The ceilings are 12.5 feet so we needed a bed that had some girth….we paired 2 bedside tables that have an antiqued finish. Rustic against glam….worked so nicely in here…..A huge feature in this space is the ceiling. We trimmed it out similar to the foyer wall and painted it Comfort Gray by Sherwin Williams. The walls are Nebulous Gray Sherwin Williams.
Right off the master is this sweet little sitting room….I failed to get a picture of the opposite wall….but it has a great built in and tv nook. The doors lead to the covered porch….
These barn doors are simply a work of art….we stained them a mix of charcoal and jacobean like the floors….
All the lighting in the house can be found at Bretcher’s in Louisville….
This bathroom is huge….features a large soaker claw foot tub….glass enclosed shower and custom tile “rugs” in front of custom designed vanities. The floor is porcelain tile that looks like marble. I think my favorite feature in this space is the mini barn doors that we painted in naval for the window…so unique! The color on the vanity is Passive, Walls are Pure White, Ceiling is Nebulous Gray (all Sherwin Williams)
This small dressing space was a perfect spot to highlight a bit of trim….all painted out in Pure White.
The goal for this Master suite was to make it friendly to both women and men. I like the feminine and masculine touches that we did in here and I think they all really played well together.
I will continue the tour next week….lots more inspiration to show you:)
Have a great Monday!

Where did the furniture come from? I just love the master bedroom.
