5 for the road: cover up

Well, I held my 5th “So NO to the Dress” party for my bunco group last night. If you are new here…you can read all about this party and it’s past here….It is a great reason to be silly and laugh a whole bunch. I am sure I will be sharing some pics next week. I’m the hippy on the bottom right;)

My friend Patti told me about this fabulous product called WOW. It is a powder/wax that covers grays sooooooo incredibly easy! I went to my salon (Omagi in the Paddock Shops) and they match up what color I needed. It will extend the time of your in between color—for those of us who are almost ALL gray:) Try it….seriously works great! (affiliate link below)

I am reading a book that is quite fascinating. It is basically the history of Home…and how our modern day comfort came to be. It started out a little slow—but stick with it….If you like history and random facts you will love it.

The peanut and I were craving apple pie a few Sunday’s…so I pulled up an easy recipe for some sautéed apples. Holy wow….they were good and quick! Melt a pat of butter in a skillet….toss in a couple apples that you peel and sliced. Let is sauté for 10 minutes. Toss in 2 T brown sugar, 1 T honey, 1/4 t cinnamon, 1/4 t nutmeg. Stir and enjoy:)

I tried a new beer….and it was yummy. Look for this Italian brew in your local shop. Great with a good pizza:)
