I’m Valerie, and I blog at Occasionally Crafty, where I love to make simple, beautiful projects anyone can do!  You’ll find Craft and DIY Tutorials, Printables, simple Recipes, thoughts on Parenting, and my favorite, Seasonal and Holiday Decor.
I’m a wife, mother to three school-aged kids, avid reader, occasional crafter, and lover of all things music.  I graduated from BYU, taught high school band, then left to stay home with my kids.  Blogging gave me a much-need creative outlet when my kids were small.  Now, when I’m not blogging, I’m teaching piano lessons, shuffling my kids off to school and activities, volunteering at my church, and reading anything I can get my hands on.
