Sometimes it is hard to make sure the kiddos leave in the morning with a full tummy that is ready for a day of learning. My kids are in middle school now and normally fend for themselves in the morning. I like to bake on the weekend and have some things on hand for them to grab and go. I shared this last year….but on that post the picture is so small you can’t see it that well. It is a fun idea to revisit this picture idea for the first day of school. This year…I will tack on here 7th grade (for real?!!….seems so odd to me that I have 2 seventh graders…I say this every year though…) I love seeing how the tree grows up right along side of them….
As you know…I am not a fabulous gardener (understatement of the year…) but somehow this tree is doing pretty darn spectacular….seems I must be doing something right ;)
