Sometimes it is odd how you become friends with someone—my friend Brittany and I became friends because her house burnt down (sounds odd, I know). Literally burnt to the ground right in front of all our neighbors watching…it is something that I will never forget. I have never seen such a large blaze of heat take down a entire house in a matter of 20 minutes. All our fabulous neighbors came together to help them through–and they rebuilt on the same lot–and are still our neighbors. Her and her husband have become great friends to us—turns out we have alot in common.
Brittany had bunco last week at her new incredible brand new house (I am in love with her house….) I am sure I will do a few post on random things in their house—it is a beauty. But this post is about a little treat she made that was so easy–and yet so addictive and yummy I had to share!
Sorry for the poor pictures…wasn’t used to her camera :)

Here is how she makes them…
  • one bag of Hershey Hugs candy
  • Bag of Pretzels (square shaped)
  • M M’s candy
Heat oven to 250. Place pretzels on a cookie sheet. Place unwrapped hug candy on the pretzel.
Bake in oven for about 4 minutes. Watch and check (all ovens heat differently). She test for doneness when the m&m will squeeze on top.Let cool at room temp (not in fridge). She recommends doing them 24 hours before you would like to serve.
Thanks Brit!!
