golden retriever The Super P, the Put, Putt-mister, Putt-a-ling-a-ding-dong, he goes by many names…he is our sweetie. He is 11 years old and going strong. He takes medicine for his hips, and for his heart….but other than that he is really quite healthy. There is a new app to keep better track of your pets health. Purina Pet Apps can help you keep all your pets’ pertinent health information right at your finger tips on your phone. You can even find area vets and other services for pet care in your area!   DSC_0015 (2) This is Putter’s favorite for of exercise…”the smiling pose”….dude is lazy. But I probably would be too if I was 80+ in dog years…just sayin. The important thing is to make it easy to take better care of your pets….and this cool smartphone app from Purina helps! I think that it would be a great tool for kids to use also to become more responsible for the family pet. They can track daily walks, exercise, medicine, appointments and more. The app is available on both itunes and the android market. There are some really fun exercise ideas on there too! Our pets bring us a lot of joy…and don’t ask for much in return. Just think how happier the world might be if everyone started off there day hugging a ball full of hair like Putt here?!?! I know that for me….it is an instant smile ;)
