I used to do a bunch of hand painted clothing when my daughter was younger. It was an easy way to make a special outfit for the holidays..and not spend a whole bunch. I recently made a jean set for a friends daughter and I thought I would document it in case you wanted to give it a go.
Video taping and painting at the same time is kind of hard…I apologize for the camera shake. I hope you get the point though. If you are just starting out…maybe start with a old shirt that you aren’t worried about…then as you feel more confident you can do a new shirt. It is basic geometric shapes, along with a few shades of paint and layering. I hope you go for it…it is just paint after all!

I use Tulip brand paints. I think they dry the softest and wear the best after washing.

Here is the youtube video….again…I apologize for the shaky camera :)
