Happy Sunday friends :) We are supposed to be having constant rain today and tomorrow– I am wishing it was snow. I could really go for a nice fluffy, big flake snowfall! Hopefully soon! Wanted to take yall on a little tour of a few decorations around the house. I used what I had on hand this year…only spent about $10 on a couple new things….Hope you find a few new ideas for you to use in your decorating this year…
I went with mostly a silver and white palette. It looks fresh and clean against all the white lights…
A tall narrow tree is in the foyer..covered in white lights and a few glittery pine cones.
We have used this large wreath on the front door for a few years. It has a couple strands of white lights and a super wide satin white bow.
The lantern gets a taste of the season with some silver sparkly ornaments and some left over Christmas picks from last year.
I bought these large gold stars at the end of the season last year at Pier One. I hung them in the foyer with some command hooks :)
A couple of glass vases I had in the closet get filled with silver pine cones (huge bag at Homegoods for $5, I swear I used them everywhere!)
Big silver garland wreaths hang in the Dining Room.
Fresh evergreen from the Christmas tree cuttings and holly from outside fill the “boat” (we call it) Free and very festive. The candles are electric :)
We love our real tree…it smells like home.
A huge collection of Christmas Santa’s was given to us from Bill’s Grandma. She collected them for many years….I love all the vintage ones. I try to add a cute one every year.
The Dining room table gets a twig reindeer that I have had several years. I sprayed it white and silver this year and placed it on some fluffy material and evergreen.
I am going to do a candlelit tour post so that you can see the house all lite up!
Are you trying to use what you have this year to decorate?
I love all of these decorations! I wish my house was this festive.

OOps, let's try that again. Sorry. I, too, tried to save money this year. Your photographs are stunning! Thank you for sharing them!
