This project is something I have wanted to do for a very long time. We have a really nice space for our Master bathroom and closet. When we built the house about 7 years ago we choose a slate blue tile for the floor. I still love it. It would love some gorgeous traverine tiles also….gorgeous!! I painted the bathroom and added a bit of storage about a year ago. It was one of the last rooms I “decorated”…..seems to be a forgotten room sometimes.
The color on the wall is Ben Moore Atmospheric

It is a nice slate/grey/blue color. Goes really nice with chrome fixtures and the tile floor.
What is doesn’t go nice with is the tone in these maple cabinets…wa wa waauuuuuuu
The maple is just too warm of a tone next to the floor and the wall….I need it to be a cooler color…
The bath gets plenty of natural light…
The cultured marble has shades of cream, grey and white…and will work nicely with most colors…
The bathroom has a lot of nice features….I just have never really been sold on the cabinets. And after 7 years your taste change a bit….so I am painting them
This color…called Iceberg by Porter Paints. It has a small amount of the blue/grey to compliment the floor nicely…and also plays nice with the wall color.
A new bath for under $20….oh I can’t wait for you to see…
Here is the post I did about a small storage project in the bathroom
Those of you who follow on facebook saw that I had toured our local homebuilders show called Homearama on Friday night. I didn’t take my camera…it was 103 heat index and I was not feelin like carrying it! What was so cool about almost every home was that the cabinets were painted in 80 percent of the kitchens and baths…Love that!! So does that mean my lil bathroom is ahead of the curve?!?!
