The cheapest way to decorate is to use things you already have right?!?! Well to decorate my outside lights for Christmas I use the holly bushes right outside my door. I clip them off the bushes and they will keep all through the Holiday season…

I gathered about 5 branches that I clipped…along with a couple of picks from Michael’s (in the Christmas section…you know where it looks like the glitter fairy exploded…)

Take some green floral wire and secure all the branches together–twisting tight. You can’t mess this up—so don’t be afraid to be forceful!
Secure to your lanterns or mailbox with the wire…I also added a bit of wired ribbon on the top.

Super easy and super cheap!! I have also done these with  leftovers from the Christmas tree clippings…

I love ideas like this. I made a whole big arrangement for my porch with christmas tree leftovers. I love how yours turned out. It looks super custom and expensive!

  2. Wonderfully fabulous idea! My sad lanterns need some glittery holly berries too! Or at least a ribbon. They're probably grumbling about me behind my back.
