I told you all about the sweater and vase project the other day……..Sweater Repurposed
So today I going to tell you about what became of those 2 sleeves!!! You know I had to make something with them right??!?! I was inspired by this article in County Living….Recycled sweater crafts…
Here is what one of the sleeves from that cable knit sweater looks like today….
Super cute right!! I had a mason jar and I had a sleeve….and some pencils of course! All you need is a glue gun to make it happen!
Take a mason jar and put it through the sleeve that you have cut off your sweater.
Flip the jar over and glue the sleeve to the bottom of the mason jar.
Flip up right and glue the inside of the jar, pressing the sleeve to the jar to adhere.
Viola! You have a handy pencil, pen, flower, scissor…whatever holder!

super cute!!!
I am so bummed that I just gave a darling cream cable knit sweater to goodwill. Do you think I can get it back!! :) Super cute.
This is too cute!!!
That is insanely crafty! I love it and would never thought of that. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great craft to transition us into winter…like Courtney above, I just donated many of my sweaters to charity.
Looks like I am throwing them in the fabric box instead…
These are really cute and cozy-looking. I will never toss out another sweater!
