My peanut wants to have a grown up room. I told her she is still my peanut and pink and green is not just for little girls. She disagrees….she is officially a….gulp…pre teen. Oh. my. So quickly…she became 12. So around her birthday this past month she mentioned to us she would like to move into the guest room. She loves the color (it is a pale aqua) and she loves the ceilings (a tall vaulted ceiling). It is a smaller room then her current room…but it does have a bigger closet (smart girl). So this is the inspiration board I have been working on. It is probably not what I would chose…but it is her turn to pick and she does have good taste so I am going with it…..

What is nice is we don’t have to paint. She loves this color that is already on the wall…bonus! We are thinking of building a platform bed…and since the room has a super tall ceiling we are thinking of doing a ladder and loft (a cool hangout with pillows and such). The accents will be grey and black. I am thinking grey velvet drapes, mirrored accent table, a dressing table with hip mirror above it. A cool black chandelier hanging from the ceiling…and some lamps along with some fun black and white prints. That is what we are thinking for now….as usual I will keep you posted :)

What me to make a moodboard for you?? Just email me :)

Happy Weekend peeps!!
