Melissa and I were virtual shopping the other night on etsy—very fun way to shop with your bff who happens to live 750 miles away. She finds something….shouts at me where to look…we shop…fun. So she found these great covered clipboards that she wanted to give as teacher gifts. Of course, I started to think….how can I make that…

I took a folder I had on hand and I made a template of the clipboard.

Tracing around the clip holder…

I cut the template onto the scrap book paper I was using.
You want to be sure and use the rubber cement bond when you glue the paper to the clipboard. This kind of glue doesn’t bubble or wrinkle. Spread it all over the back and glue on you paper to the clipboard.

I made one for a friend of mine who host our annual cookie exchange. I used some letter stickers to do her name on the bottom. Cute huh!
I put some on my etsy store….check them out here…Peanutbearys

  1. You made me one of these a couple of years ago with a matching book mark – still so cute! I love it when my daughter lets me use it.
