You know I write…like I talk…it all comes out of my head the same way. Well, Wow is the only word I have been saying for the past week. Wow. Wow. Wow.

I was recently contacted by a sweet girl named Cassy. She is the Vice President and Managing Partner of Project Mom. Project Mom is a conference for Moms. You know how all other professions have trade shows and conferences? Well, before Project Mom came along there wasn’t one conference for just Professional Moms. A place for moms to gains some perspective…and inspiration. And be able to come back to their job feeling renewed and invigorated about being a mom. So Cassy set out to put together a conference where moms can come for a weekend to really reflect and get inspired. I love this idea! I wish I knew Cassy back when my twins were babies.

Cassy reads my blog…and she contacted me to see if I would like to speak to at the conference in Dallas, Texas in April! I know, crazy right!?! She wants others to be inspired to do simple creative things in their home…and she thought I would be a great fit to send that message out. Wow. Right, Wow. So humbled. So thankful. ( And so so so sweaty thinking about it : )

I am a firm believer that you grow the most when you challenge yourself. I sure am growing….because this will be the biggest challenge since walking into a room full of strangers in 7th grade when I started a new school. Yikes!
But I know that I can do it…and I know that I can do it well. It is second nature for me to talk about being creative in your homes. I love what I do…and I love that I can share it with all of you. Thank you for encouraging me. Thank you so much.

I am really looking forward to holding this session….it will be interactive and creative…and for sure a ton of fun! So I ask you this….if you were to be in the audience that day…what is something that you would hope to take away from it? I am working on some ideas and would love your input too!!
