I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day!!
I have making some updates in the library….just wanted to share the progress….I have found some really great deals….
These chairs were in perfect condition…they just need a little white wash on the wood—found the set for $120 on consignment :)
Found 2 of these at Homegoods….perfect for keeping a desk tidy ….
The ottoman is almost done…just need to sew the skirt on the bottom. I am making the slipcover out of white denim fabric…
The bookshelves are cleaned up and I am still de-cluttering. I love the artwork hanging from one of the shelves.
It is coming together…slowly but surely.
Paint color is Behr Tawny Birch.
This was a find at a local Architectual savage place….unsure what it is exactly. It meant something to us because my husbands family business is asphalt and concrete. The tag in the center says Lou. Asphalt .
The owner of the shop says that is was from the 1910’s…and was pulled out of the building where Louisville Asphalt operated. It is a great conversation piece….even if we have no clue what it is!
Your chairs are fabulous. Love them and the room is looking wonderful. Hugs, marty
The room is looking great!! I love that piece on the wall, too. Make sure to post it if you ever find out what it is, lol!
