I have been thinking of buying on of these cute camera strap covers…but first I had to see if I could make one first….and so I did :)
Start by measuring your strap…
You will need:
Iron flat the sides and ends of both pieces of fabric….place the fusible fleece inside one piece. Iron
Figure our where you would like your lens cover to sit. Pin elastic to the fabric.
You do not need elastic on the bottom (that was my first attempt and the elastic was to tight ;0
Sew the ends of each piece where you folded it in. Sew the right sides together on the long sides (leaving the ends open.)
After turning rightsides out….take a safety pin and thread your strap through…
May take a little maneuvering—keep at it until it is all the way through…
Your finished!!!

It looks great, Tracie! Love the fabric pattern :)
I really want one of those too, but I am not quite as crafty as you are to do it myself. I guess I can just put mine on a wishlist along 50 other things.
Love this – very Engelbreit! Hope you'll stop over and link up on Momspiration Monday:

I just made one for a friend's birthday present. It was so simple, that I kept looking for another step when I finished. Thanks so much for the instrucstions.
[…] fits my lens alright, but I’m hoping to use my sister-in-law’s machine this weekend to make a camera strap cover (with the handy elastic to hold the lens cap) so that this doesn’t happen to me again on this […]
