Great video and very informative! Love following your blog and seeing all of the fun and clever things you come up with! We have wooden stairs already, wish they were darker but they are fine for now. I have recently numbered ours and they look really cute! I do have several projects I want to tackle but have been apprehensive, you have inspired me to just go for it! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Thank you Thank you..You have so inspired me that I spend all of MLK weekend taking out the multiple numerous staples from the rug that the previous owner had on the rugs. We had removed the rug but had a lot of staples under the treads and the risers. I removed over 150..This weekend I will start the standing process. Yr the best. Jackie
We just refinished our stairs with a very similar look! I have been debating on the runner. Hub and I have both fallen now – once each. I cringe when my 6 year old goes down and doesn't hold on to the rail. Let me know how you like it!
Your stairs look wonderful. I wish I could redo mine, but we live in a condo. Your video was great!!
