And now about the Stockings…
The Christmas stocking was a HUGE deal in my family growing up—my brothers and I had huge stockings that were filled to the brim with lots of goodies—and little presents wrapped up inside. So it was a big deal to me when our kids were little that they start off their very first Christmas with a HUGE stocking—and the tradition continues….
Again….I did this a long time ago–with 2 babies–it isn’t my best work–LOL. But it is homemade from my heart…and I love them. I made them out of fleece. I placed white fleece that was cut into a circle shape like an ornament (9 on the front, 9 on the back…) and every year we add a current picture to the stocking. I used puffy paint to write their name and the year on the ornament…
Last year I had to start putting pictures on the back—you would’ve thought my kids were going off to college—I teared the entire day–“I can’t believe they are old enough to be on the BACK of the stocking…” oh and yes, I have twins (in case you didn’t know ;)
I love taking these out every year..and looking back at their little faces..so sweet.
So I guess when they turn 18—well, who knows what I will do—Bill says it won’t matter because we will be in Hawaii that Christmas anyway ;)
This is adorable!!!! Thank you so much for coming by my blog and thank you for following so I could find you here! I have twins too! I think I have found another spot to visit! I am heading out now but will come back and look through your blog here…looks like some really fun stuff.
How cute these are! Your children will cherish these for many years to come.

That is a fabulous idea. Stockings were sacred in our house…but my mom got rid of them…go figure. My kids love their stockings…what a fun way to commemorate the years.
