I recently made some of these for a gift and I really love how they turned out. They are each one of a kind and I love giving something that you can’t buy in a store:) I added some to my etsy shop…if you don’t want to make them yourself. If you do….here is what I did to make mine…

Cut out some patterns of some various skirt designs (think paper dolls!!) and a pattern for the shirt…

I used black cardstock for the shirt top…and various fabric scraps for the skirts. Be sure to iron well and cut out with sharp scissors.

I glued the black tops on with rubber cement. I glued the fabric skirt just at the top…(skirt flys up–love it!)

I am selling sets of 6 on my etsy site
I was inspired to make these because of a card I saw while vacationing in Florida. It has been brought to my attention that these cards are similar to a post that was done on a blog called Carolyn’s Homework. They are super similar….but I didn’t see this post prior to making my cards. Here is Carolyn’s post about her cards…Carolyn’s Homework
Many of us have good ideas and it is never my intent to take something that isn’t mine. I ALWAYS will tell you where I find an idea….unless it is my own.
Thanks friends :)
