Who knew that you could have so much fun with nuts?? (yes, that was the first sentence that came to my mind…and you know that I type like I talk…so I had to go with it…) carry on…. My friends at Diamond Nuts challenged me this holiday season to share some fun crafts that feature their nuts. I made those super cute votive that I told you about last week….and this week I wanted to share a fun Thanksgiving craft to keep the kiddos busy:)
Just spread out the materials and let the kids make a few….grandparents love these!
Oh my…blogland is a blaze with Christmas already….I’m not quite there yet. There are a few commitments I have that require me to post Holiday ideas earlier than I would like….but for the most part I try to live in the current season…and right now it is all turkey talk. I love Thanksgiving….it has always been a favorite holiday in our house. I partnered up this holiday season with Diamond Nuts to come up with some unique ways to craft with the whole nuts. I will be posting a few more this month. All of them are great kid activities when you have extra kiddos in the house. A fun way to spend a little bit of time together:)
This Votive candle would be so pretty dressed up on a Thanksgiving table. Make several and place them down the table….scatter a few pumpkins and squashes, whole cheastnuts…some dried leaves…and your table is done!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Hershey Company for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Hey guys! Hope you had a wonderful fall weekend! Hubs and I celebrated all weekend long in Chicago….came home well rested and bags full of loot:) Wanted to share a fun Halloween craft today….have a great day!
Hershey’s and Halloween go hand in hand. When they asked me to come up with a fun little craft to do for Halloween I gladly agreed. This little countdown chain would be a fun weekend or classroom craft. I think the kiddos will have a great time making these….and enjoying them too!
Hey hey…happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. It’s that time of year where we have a ton of extra candy in the house….send me some will power would you? My friends at Hershey’s sent a ginormous box of candy asking me to share with you a fun Halloween craft idea. Of course my kids think that I must realllllly be important now—since Hershey sent me candy…#ornot.
Thanks for all your excitement about our possible adventure…. (see Wednesdays post). All we know at this hour is that we are still “in contention”…fingers crossed:) Till then….here is a sweet craft to do this weekend:)
Even though my kiddos are 15 now I still like to come up with a corny little Valentine to give them. We used to spend hours by the table making handmade Valentines when they were little and for some reason I love all the little corny sayings. There’s so many to choose from. But I thought I would give you 5 really easy fun ideas in case you’re looking for a craft to do this weekend. You can knock these out and have Valentines all finished and ready to go.
The one that I made I basically just wrapped a pack of gum. It’s really nothing new…it’s all over Pinterest I’m sure. I created the printable that you can print out and cut out and all you have to do is tape it on a pack of gum and you’re finished. Some of the others that I picked to show you don’t call for any kind of candy which is also nice. It’s fun to give a little treat or something special that doesn’t cost a lot of money. And like always you can search up Pinterest homemade valentines and you will have a huge array of ideas. All you’re going to need for my valentine is some paper or cardstock some scotch tape and scissors. The size of the printable is about 3 x 5.5 so it should wrap around most packs of gum.
Click on HERE to download the printable (I put 3 on one sheet of paper:) (obviously for personal use only….don’t go selling these and telling people you made the printable mkay:)
I thought these were adorable too….I mean who doesn’t love a truck full of donut goodness??
