Too many frickin pillows….seriously the pillows are going to take over our house. I was in a desperate need to clean up and declutter this week and these random pillows almost made their way to Goodwill. Instead, I came up with another purpose for them on the front porch. If you don’t have any random pillows laying around…and you want to make some of these for your front porch, check the local garage sales this weekend—I am sure you will find something that will be good enough to recover for the porch.
Hey yall! How was the weekend?? We had a great time doing not much:) It was too hot for me to start pulling out the fall decorations…booooo…. I am so itchin for a crisp morning. We did look at a few open houses on Sunday. Yes, you heard that right….open houses. We are just seeing what might be out there….starting to miss our yard a little—especially with 2 pups running around. Most likely we will stay put…but we are open to possibilities;)
Y’all see Bad Moms movie? I went last night with my fellow bad moms….really funny movie. Lots of laughs and one liners…none of which I can remember today–let alone post here…but look it up on Youtube (after you are done watching today’s video of course:)
Dang… I’m kind of tired of the hot weather! This time of year… around my birthday (#43 on Sunday whoot whoot:)… I start wishing for sweaters and jeans and the crisp fall air. I know we’re probably in for about a month more of Summer…but I’m hoping it fall comes quickly.
I have been busy and my bub’s room this week….loving how it is coming together. To bring you up to speed check out the moodboard for this project for my Teen boy room.
There used to be this Penny Candy Shop where my Grammie lived…. In the summertime she/my mom and dad would give us a dime and we would ride our bikes and fill up our little bags with 10 Swedish Fish. I’m sure it was her and my mom’s way of maybe getting us out of the house for a little bit. We love that shop. It was called Klem’s Penny Candy Shop in Avalon, New Jersey. I wish they still had stores like that that kids could go in and use a dime for a cheap thrill like 10 Swedish Fish.
Homearama is officially here! Somebody wipe my brow;) I am happy with how it turned out….very proud of some of the features of this home. For the next few weeks I will be sharing with you some behind the scenes stuff along with all the pretty pictures. If you are coming to Homearama please stop by house #15 to see me this weekend!! My local photographer friend April Tobbe Photography was a gem and photographed the whole house! If you see the house in person, she also supplied some of my wall art—some gorgeous folks that she has photographed in the past.
