Hey yall! Back to school time in full swing here! Bubs started on Friday and peanut starts on Wednesday. Tomorrow will be the last day that I get up and drive my people to school—wow…hard to believe. They will be taking turns driving each other to school. Helps out that their schools are down the street from each other. It is weird though. When they get their license there is this whole new freedom—not just for them…but for me too. It is nice….but at the same time it is just one more milestone that comes and goes too quickly. They are gaining independence…and that is a good thing. I am happy for them….and just a little sad to see another chapter close—but 95% happy…only a tad sappy:) I keep repeating the mantra…I am here to help them be happy, independent people—and driving is just one more step to them living their own lives…and for that I feel very blessed and grateful.
Hey y’all! Wanted to pop in and just finish off the posts that I was doing about Jack’s graduation party. I have told you that I was helping to put together some decorations for my nephew’s High School graduation this year. It has been so much fun finding unique projects on Pinterest and through other bloggers. I shared with you a few weeks back the Hat Card Box that I made. I also shared the chalkboard and I wanted to give you an idea of what else was going to go on the tables and a few other unique ideas that you might like to use for your own graduation celebrations.
Hey gals…and guys…:) Holy moly it is cold out…where the heck is SPRING?? We are probably going to skip right to summer. We had a low key weekend which was great:) This is my kiddos last week of school…they take exams next week…and become JUNIORS…WHAT!?!?! Seriously can NOT believe I will have 2 JUNIORS in high school. Maybe that is why everyone in our house has puppy fever…that’s right…we are in talks with Stella’s Aunty Trisha (aka Stella’s breeder) about her next litter. We may be crazy….it is a firm possibility. I will keep you posted:)
Wanted to share with you another fun teacher thank you gift that is easy enough to put together for all the favorite teachers in your life. Believe me….I did the hard work for you:)
So many super cute ideas out there to show your teachers some love at the end of the school year. My daughter helped me think of this sweet saying that you can wrap up and give to the favorite teachers in your life. All you are going to need is a magazine, travel size sunscreen and maybe a pack of gum….all the fixins for a great day by the pool this summer. You can right click on this free printable below…easy peasy!
I am positive that the teachers in your life would surely appreciate this little gift of thanks:)

I told you last week that I am working on putting together a few decorations for my nephew’s high school graduation party graduation. It has been fun dreaming up and creating some unique features for his celebration. So is was perfect timing when my friends at Martha Stewart sent me a fun package and invited me to create a craft to use for a party this season.
I told you last week that I am helping decorate my nephew’s high school graduation party. I get so excited about pulling it together…I may have a sickness….My sister in law doesn’t enjoy it as much—so she was thrilled when I volunteered;)
I made this sweet graduation gift card box…for about $5 and a bit of time. I thought that if you have any grads in your house this year you may want to put one of these together too:)
