This is a great way to use up some leftover cooked chicken! The puff pastry makes it look so fancy….when is it so easy to make!

I used about 1 cup cooked spinach drained and chopped. (about a box of frozen spinach will work too)

Mix in a bowl, chopped chicken spinach, 3T cream cheese, salt, pepper, 1 clove garlic minced.

Thaw the puff pastry for about 15 minutes. Cut in half long ways.

Place some chicken mixture on one half of the pastry. Fold over the remaining on top.

Pinch edges with a fork.

Brush egg on top.

Bake at 400 for about 25 minutes. Goes great with a green salad!
Ingredients
2.5 C cooked chicken
1 clove garlic minced
1 C spinach cooked and drained well
3T cream cheese cooking creme in Savory Garlic
Salt and pepper

  1. Tracie, this looks delicious! And simple! I love using puff pastry but i've never done that combo before – and i love spinach!! So I will definitely be giving this a try (really love the idea of using the seasoned cream cheese, too! how nice is that??!!) ~Lori
