DIY Instagram Photo Prop free download

Hey yall! Soooooo we SOLD the lakehouse! We went back and forth a couple of time with our buyers and the deal was good enough to settle. They are a cash buyer—a young family ready to make some fun updates to the house and make it their own. We hope to close this month so I will be going down there to gather the rest of our things. It is bitter sweet…but I would say more sweet than bitter. We are thrilled that another family will start to enjoy this house and the lake—while we start to concentrate a bit more on making the beach house fit our family better. All good things:)

Hope you had a great weekend….Today I wanted to share a fun photo prop that I made for the peanut’s 16th birthday party. I found a fabulous tutorial on this blog. Julie makes it really easy to download the template and then save and print to a local print shop. The girls all LOVED this photo prop….all 640 pictures proved that:) The girls rotated 2 memory cards and I would put the photos on Flickr—which was set up with our Apple TV so that the girls could see their photos in real time. Lots of belly laughing was going on….quite fun:)

All you are going to need to make this is the download on Julie’s blog (I edited mine in an old version of powerpoint and it worked great!) Just edit the doc and save it as a picture file. Then upload it and print it poster size. I used a Walgreen’s coupon and printed mine for just $10. Glue onto a piece of foam board, cut out the center with a sharp razor knife. You may have to glue a bit of support on the back (I just glued on some thin dowel rods where the board would be held.)

I have no clue where the pictures that I took of the process but I am sure you can follow Julie’s instructions just as easy.

I set up a photo booth similar to this one from year’s past. I also put this little sign by the props….You can right click and print it out if you’d like;)

Hope this helps you! Some of the instagram photo booth props that I saw online were about $40….and you can make this one for pennies! A great addition to your party:)

Have a great Monday!
