Creating a personal touch for the bathroom: Sponsored Post

Thank you to Kleenex Hand Towels for sponsoring this post about how I’m making my bathroom guest-ready! To learn more about Kleenex Hand Towels or to find out how you can save money when you buy your own, check out this site.

I have lamented before about our kids bathroom. It is one aspect of our house that I have never really loved. It is really small…set up is not conducive to two kids working in there at the same time. The kids have worked through it though….and the bear spends as little time as needed in there…which makes the peanut happy. It also happens to be the bathroom that our overnight guests use as well. We like to keep it neat and ready for our friends to use too.

When we first moved in…I did decorate it. I still love the color scheme in there. Rust color tile…a blue ceiling, gold walls and a long shower curtain that ties all the colors together.

One of my favorite things is the pictures I took and framed on the wall. They were about 4 in these pictures…making silly hair styles in the tub. Under the pictures I painted “good clean fun” . (if you wanted to recreate, but you don’t want to free hand paint… you could get a vinyl sticker made). It is something that makes the space immediately personal…and makes our guest laugh. It would be an easy little weekend project for you to create in one of your bathrooms.
