You all know how it goes….you make something in a room look sooooo much better…
Other things in that room that haven’t been touched in 7 years…start to bother you ….endless cycle…
So we ( and by we–I really mean ME)—we started to think of some ways to update this space.
over the red….loved it 7 years ago….
I started seeing things “lightened” up a bit….
I saw this on Centsational Girl….and I sort of fell-in-LOOVEEE…..
The look is so timeless, classic and simple—and really goes perfectly with our colonial house. I love it! Also, the beautiful white against the creamy walls—just lovely. And it is handy–with those stylish hooks–love it! Did I mention that I LOVE IT….
So guess what we did this past weekend???
Hmmmm…what paint should I choose…such possibility!
Really loving Light french gray so far….
My honey…getting started on the trim….he loves a good project like this. Instant gratification!

Great minds think alike! I just got a gallon of light french gray mixed up myself! Mine is for my son's room. I am sure your foyer will look fabulous, your stairs certainly do!
I've been wanting to do grey somewhere in the house too but haven't figured out where. Can't wait to see your foyer!

I love your stairs ,what did you paint the treads with or is it a stain? I am really looking forward to the colour change you are doing ,you may like to have a look at my blog to see why ,the colour of our lounge dining is identical to your hall ,but I am having trouble convincing my husband ,he loves it :)
