Bill and I were lucky enough to have our family pictures taken with an incredible local photographer. He is a friend and was so kind to give us a bit of his time. His name is Andrew Kung—and he is quite simply a master of his craft in photography. We are big fans! His expertise is fashion and commercial photography—but he can shoot anything—he is really really talented.

Capturing our kids perfect! Emily–reserved, wise beyond her years and a sweet pea. Conner—outgoing, everybody’s friend and our lovebug. Kudos Drew….seriously fabulous work!

So I thought of him when we started to think of getting something for the mantel. I am a fan of Drew’s on Facebook….Andrew Kung Photography…and I remember these beach pictures he took last year on a trip to Oregon. Gorgeous–simply stunning…check them out here….

We chose this picture….

Calming yet look and all that energy in the movement of the waves….Both Bill and I are fans of the beach—and the waves in the picture are just pure beauty.
Along with this picture…I decided to put these vases….
And spray paint some twigs white….
Then I placed them in the cool Zen Vases that I told you about…
Cool right?!?!

Here is the finished mantle…love it!

Put some glasses up there with votive in them….

I did a white frame and a white mat to showcase the print.
Cool at night too :) I put some little halogen tap lights behind the vases…and the votive candles in the glasses.
Thanks Drew–fabulous!!
Go see more of Drew’s work on Facebook….
Giveaway drawing will be noon today!!!
