I did this project a LONG time ago…my twins are now 10 going on 11…tear, tear…When they were babies—I found this project (I can’t remember where, but it may have been Martha..) I didn’t want to forget that they were this little (because I was in a sleep-deprived coma for their first year….I joke, I joke, but seriously I think I was…anywho…)

And it is so simple, but so special. Now, if your babies are older than 3,6,9 months….that is ok. Make it your own and just start now—you will be happy you did when they are off at college :)

Take some card stock, color of your choice. Trace their little chubby hand, and on the back write the age so you don’t forget. I had one from 3 months, 6 months and 9 months. The 3 month one cracks me up—his hand was so little and chubby it was hard to trace! I then mounted them on a white piece of card stock and wrote (in my very best handwriting of course) how old they were. I had the mat cut at Michael’s because I wanted a little cut out to write their name. Then I framed them. I treasure these little hands—especially because now I don’t get to hold them quite as much ;)

This is a terrific idea, I wish I had done that when my kiddos where that little! I guess it's not too late yet! Thanks for the idea!
